Recorded inside of an abandoned building next to a boarded-up, old wooden exit door. Has a nice, subtle low hum, which is actually from a plane flying overhead. Also contains knocking sounds, which is most likely the door being a bit loose. Would be awesome for horror atmospheres. Feel free to use this sound for what ever you wish to. Credit is appreciated but not needed. Let me know what you use this sound for!.

Recording of a door being opened and closed, and then opened and closed again. Very slight footsteps (on carpet) can be heard. The microphone (sennheiser mkh-50) was intentionally placed about 5 feet away from the door so as to capture some of the natural room sound/reverb (which is very subtle). I have another recording available of the exact same door and mic setup, but aimed slightly off-axis to capture just a bit more room sound. Recorded into a tascam 208i audio interface and into adobe audition. Very minor processing (low-cut at 80hz to remove low-freq rumble).

Created with granular synthesis. Something related to a spaceship, engine room, another drone sound; could be a distant low end for a pad, as it is tonal (a note). Will loop if you crossfade between start and end. Enjoy. Https://soundcloud. Com/vospi.

These samples come from a gakken sx-150, a small analogue synthesizer kit that was released in japan 2008 as part of the gakken hobby magazine series. The synth became very popular also outside of japan, mainly because it's a low-cost analogue synth with a great sound that offers lots of possibilities for circuit benders.

This is the sound of a kubota three-cylinder diesel. Between 57 seconds and 1:15 it was being driven. The low speed was 600 rpm and it only goes to 2500, a surprise to me. They made me drive it in "turtle. " i was not trusted with "bunny. ".

A ride/cymbal sound made with sunvox. It's a sampled noise impulse with a certain starting phase sent through a bandpass and then a reverb with a low room size, which acts as a resonator. It then goes through another filter and reverb set, then a compressor.

Synth bagpipes with snare only. I made this for the backing track, at very low volume, for a video sound track. It's good enough for something like that. I don't know anything about pipes so don't freak out if play them. It's g at 100bpm in 6/8.

Smooth fm chords for calm atmosphere in movie. Use fat low pass filter depending on your taste. Highs should be mostly removed, i left them there - you need to decide how much highs you want to keep. It reminds me roland sound. Optionally add roland chorus tal-chorus-lx.

The sound of something or someone shrieking rhythmically in the cemetery while i was passing by around midnight. The shrieking went for probably 30 seconds at a time, with pauses of around 30 seconds in between. I recorded it on my cell phone, so it's terrible quality.

Dark background sound in place of background music. I recorded this in my booth, using audacity and my cad e100s. The higher sound is a pen tapping on the bottom of a metal cup. I used various effects to stretch, raise pitch, and a few others. I also layered the higher sound 4 times to get the "harmony". The low sound was my voice. I lowered pitch, speed and stretched the wave, as well as a few other effects as well. Enjoy.

This is a foghorn-like sound that i created using an accidentally recorded poot from a friend. I stretched the sound bite a few times while lowering the pitch, added a couple different reverb effects, and then finished it with some parametric eq, raising the bass, and using a low pass filter to cut out the high frequencies. If you would like the original poot sound, i have also uploaded it as fart sound 1.

A sound demo of the registers Violin, Viola and Horn, with modulation, crescendo and sustain. You will hear random akkords. Note: Horn is the low pass filtered version of the register Trumpet, not an additional register. Trumpet sounds much brighter. If the button Horn is pressed, you may release the button Trumpet, without any change in sound. Horn means French horn. The Trumpet or Horn register offer the effects of the brass section in an orchestra This is the famous and well known sound of the Arp/Solina String Ensemble! This helicopter sound design was created at fl studio, in the sytrus synthesizer. The sound consists of four layers. 1. Sine wave frequency of 44 hz. Simulates the low frequency noise of propeller blades. 2. White noise passed through the svf filter. Simulates the noise of propeller blades. 3. Saw wave. Simulates the sound of an engine. 4. The sine wave. Imitates a high-frequency whistle of the engine. Various modulations are applied to all waves through the envelopes of the synthesizer. Next, the signal on the mixer channel is processed by a multi-band exciter and equalizer. Then a signal was sent to two channels with delay processing. One of them imitates reflections. In the lower-middle frequency range. On the second in the upper-middle frequency range. As you approach the sound source, the volume parameters of the direct and reflected signals are automated, low pass filter, pan width and equalization of direct sound. The helicopter performs strange maneuvers, as if making constant circles during the approach to the listener. I did not seek to create the veracity of these maneuvers.

Recording of sea undertow on the beach of formicoli, vibo valentia, calabria, italy, the 19th agust 2022 16:44. The sound was recorder with a zoom h1n with windshield at a short distance from the crashing of the waves on the beach. The waves are driven by a light, gentle wind. The sound was recorded by holding the microphone in my hand while i dived knee-deep into the water and walk, filming the crashing of the waves (also on my legs). High-frequency sound details (the foam of the sea, the impact of waves on each other, etc. ) are much more audible here. Processing:* volume adjustment;* 120hz high pass filter (to reduce low some low frequencies rumble due to the wind);* cut and crossfade to eliminate very few mechanical noise of my hand on the mic;.

I recorded this using my small sony cybershot camera. You'll notice that the wind goes from loud to soft to loud again, repeating. This because i am opening the window wide and then after a few seconds i close the window but not completely so that i get some low whistling sounds from the wind. I recorded for 18 minutes and i used audacity to edit it. Hope this sound is useful for you!.

Recorded inside a closet. Low noise, not much reverb. Sounds almost machine-like with a satisfying thump. Recorded on a phone. I messed around with it to get it to sound nice. In case you do something that mixes the channels: on the opening part i copied a 5khz to 8. 5khz band from the left to the right channel, so that frequency band is mono.

A sound composed from bunching wet paper towels smacked against the floor and a wet bottle of liquid being sloshed mixed together to create an impact sound. Creates a horrible sensation of flesh impacted by a powerful shockwave. A bottle with liquid being sloshed around gently can provide the needed element of a subdued liquid sound - taking away the need to filter it with low pass filters (but it can help boost other frequencies).

I made this using two oscillators in native instrument's fm8 synth. There is nothing too fancy, just two sine waves played out the same output, but one has an offset of 440hz, and the second oscillator has an offset of 330hz. I then just played two notes that didn't sound too dissonant, and then ran it through some low-fi processing.

Tennis ball bouncing on a tennis racket: in this sound you hear a tennis ball bounce on a tennis racket. At times the racket makes a metallic sound when the ball bounces off it. Recorded using the zoomh4n and the rode ntg1 condenser shotgun microphone. I added a low shelf and and 2 bands to try and make it sound less metallic at times. The ball used is a wilson ball and a wilson tennis racket.
